3D Design Meetup

This design Meetup is focused on 3D design and the use of Tinckercad. We’ll use Tinkercad to design a shape which we will then CNC machine and use for vacuum forming in subsequent meetups.

This meetup is also part of a series of collaborative meetups (Life Hacking, Electronics/Programming, and Fabrication) all working together on a single community build project. 


THIS SEASON these meetups will focus on building an IoT device. 

Tinkercad is a great browser-based through-the-web design app. You can rapidly create 3D shapes by clicking / dragging / adding / subtracting / modifying canonical shapes in a convenient library.https://www.tinkercad.com/ This is great for subsequently 3D printing, for laser cutting and stacking the sections (check out Slicer), or for CNC machining.
