Arduino 101 – 2 hours, 1 day a week – In this course students will learn about electronics and circuitry along with micro controller programming. The students will learn how to code in the Arduino Integrative Development Environment (IDE) which very much resembles a C++ IDE. The class will contain many different projects, some of which they will be able to keep and take home with them. An Arduino Kit will be provided along with some other electronics supplies as part of the supply fee. The supply fee has been added in to the total of the class.

Mr. Morone a student at BGSU studying Biology with a minor in Spanish. He has been doing various forms of robotics
and programming for the last 9 years and has attended many different Professional Development classes. He was a VEX Robotics competitor from 2010-2014 and qualified for the world championship, and has been running VEX Robotics camps and competitions since 2014. In 2016-2017, Mr. Morone was the assistant coach for the Toledo Technology Academy robotics team. Last year he led classes for The Home School for The Arts in programming logic and languages. He also led some BiG Idea Maker Clubs.
Pre-Requisites: some experience coding
Age restrictions: students who are entering 9th to 12th grades
Supply List: AAA batteries, 1 spiral notebook, pencil for notetaking, Arduino Kit (provided as part of supply fee), computer access at home
