FREE SLIDE LECTURE October 16th, 7:00pm
October 17th & 18th 9:00 - 5:00 each day
This two-day workshop will focus on functional wheel thrown pottery. Linda will demonstrate throwing and altering forms. Several approaches to handle, spout, and feet making will be explored. Demonstrations, slides, and group discussion will form the basis for an understanding of how to look critically at our work and grow in our understanding of form, surface, volume, and intent. Linda will demonstrate during the morning, followed by a break for lunch with a film. Participants will be able to work hands-on in the afternoon, with one on one attention from Linda.
