Art Gone Wild!

For the month of July, we're letting kids go wild with art! Each Friday morning, children age 6-12 can join us for a different animal-themed art activity. The workshops start at 10 am and lasts an hour and a half. $20 includes all materials for the class and a snack.

July 10: Animal Patterns. Kids will learn how to use lines to create visual textures on their animal drawings, then use markers and water to create a simple watercolor effect.

July 17: Fish Shapes. Kids will learn about tessellations while create a continuous pattern using the shape of a fish they create with a variety of materials.

July 24: Insect Symmetry. Kids will create a collage of an imaginary insect while learning about symmetry, as well as positive and negative space in art.

July 31: Zebra Painting. Kids will create a fun painting of a zebra with acrylic paint on canvas.
