• Class Description: Art Exploration is the perfect combination of painting, sculpture and drawing with monthly units running September through May in conjunction with the school year.  Fundamental concepts using these mediums will be introduced using fun, imaginative projects that fit your child’s grade level. Art history is woven into these lessons to expand your child’s art knowledge, and encourage art appreciation. Our goal is to teach the language and concepts of art, and encourage creativity. Students in these classes will have the opportunity to develop confidence in their own artistic ability and to discover individuality and self-expression through a visual medium. (Acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, drawing etc. will be rotated for a complete art experience over the months)
