PSI CHI is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 with two primary purposes:
1. To encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship, and
2. To advance the science of psychology
We are raising money in support of the University of Arizona’s chapter of PSI CHI. We believe that students who exhibit scholastic tenacity by scoring within the top 35% of their class deserve both recognition and opportunities to excel. If students are actively involved with our chapter they may earn a cords to wear at graduation, and this regalia costs more than we receive in dues from each member. Moreover, we endeavor to provide our members with meaningful opportunities to volunteer and demonstrate civic involvement as well as opportunities to socialize and network with like-minded peers. All such activities cost money, and so we are raising funds in support of these goals.
Membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in psychology, and who meet the minimum qualifications. PSI CHI is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
