Lithography Transfer on Clay

Thursdays / 6 weeks, June 30 - August 4 / 6:30 - 8:30 with Chrissy Trout / $195

In this class students will explore the printmaking process of lithography transfer adapted for clay.   This exciting technique can give you a range of tones, unlike many other printing techniques that will produce only blacks and whites.  We will learn the litho process and then each student will work on building pieces of their choice specifically for their chosen print(s).  Start gathering photos of your family, your favorite imagery, and even your own drawings to transfer onto your ceramic work.  Printing materials included.  Students will need leather-hard pieces to print on.  A light colored clay body is reccomended.
