Designed for the beginning cake decorator and those wanting to perfect their buttercream skills, students will learn proper technique and tools to level and split cakes evenly, apply buttercream smoothly, without crumbs, and then learn to cold carve buttercream to give flawless surfaces and crisp, sharp edges. We'll complete the cake with buttercream piping and final finishes. Take your beautifully filled and frosted 6-inch, 4-layer cake home with you at the end of class. Class runs 2.5 hours, but please leave a few extra minutes in your schedule in case this class runs over. Cake, buttercream, materials and tools supplied.
