Class Description:
Spring has sprung and summer is right around the corner. We’re here with a fun cookie decorating class that celebrates all things spring and early summer! Whether you're a novice or a seasoned baker, renowned cookie artist Leesa Yates will teach you the art of cookie decorating, sharing cookie decorating tips and techniques that will have you making your own edible masterpieces in no time! Start off class with a refreshing lemonade. Then Leesa will show you how to make Royal Icing, the base frosting for decorating cookies. Next she’ll teach decorating techniques like consistencies, coloring, piping, and flooding. Once you’ve got the basics down, you will practice what you’ve learned and work on creating your own designs. Embrace the beauty of spring with nature-inspired cookie designs like flowers, butterflies, ladybugs, and bees. Draw inspiration from floral designs, using pastel-colored icing to mimic the soft hues of spring flowers, including daisies, tulips, daffodils, and cherry blossoms. Edible glimmer or shimmer dust can add that touch of magic. Of course, you get to take your spring-themed cookies home. This is a fun class for the whole family!

Notes:

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
• Family friendly: All ages 5 and up welcome. Each child must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes. If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• Unless otherwise noted in the class description, all adult classes include one glass of beer or wine. Additional alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
