Did you watch The Great Pottery Throwdown, and think... I could do that? (Answer: yes! and also, it's fun to try new things and it's okay to mess up... because you probably will - we all do! 😆💗)
Or have you come across wheelthrowing videos when you're scrolling and wonder if it's as therapeutic in person as it is to watch? (I mean, *I* think so…

Or have you come across wheelthrowing videos when you're scrolling and wonder if it's as therapeutic in person as it is to watch? (I mean, *I* think so, but I might be biased🤷♀️.)
Our two-hour try the pottery wheel session lets you try out the pottery wheel with friends (whether you bring them with you, or make them with us), and without judgement.
Registration is $52/participant and class looks like:
1. Instructor demo and then hands-on pottery wheel time for about 90 minutes
2. During the last 30 minutes, you'll choose your favorite creation and add textures, handles, and other decoration.
3. You'll also decide if you want to glaze that day, or return anytime after it's been fired the first time. Either one is included with your registration; it mostly depends on how detailed you'd like to paint your piece, or if you are coming from out of town
Since clay is recyclable, we'll give you plenty of clay to practice with. Make a bunch of things, then choose your best one to keep and glaze. (If you like more than one, you can glaze & fire additional pieces for $13+tax each.)
* Pottery Wheel creations typically take 2-3 weeks to pick up.
* Shipping is available for a flat rate of $25/address for up to 4 pieces.
* Recommended for ages 10+.
