Class Description:
Tonight we'll experience some of Kansas City’s most famous dishes as Executive Chef Richard McPeake dives deep into the world of local culinary history. He should know - he designed the menus and dishes for some of the most iconic Kansas City restaurants, including the original Bristol Bar & Grill on Country Club Plaza. It went on to receive many accolades, including the Silver Spoon Award, under his leadership. Bristol’s famous recipes included Tomato & Sweet Red Onion Salad with Black Pepper Vinaigrette, and Pan Sautéed Lemon Sole with Lemon Parsley Butter with Rice Pilaf.
Then there is Fedora, the popular Country Club Plaza restaurant that we all knew and loved. With Chef Richard at the helm, Fedora’s was celebrated as one of the Top 10 Bistros in America with dishes like Pan Sautéed Chicken Saltimbocca with Sage Glaze, Spaghetti Squash Parmesan, and their beloved Blue-Ribbon Chocolate Truffle Cake. Chef Richard will regale us with stories that only he knows, and insights to how these dishes came about at these beloved restaurants. And you'll get the chance to work alongside Chef Richard as you help prepare some of his treasured dishes. We hope you’ll join us for this unique night of excellent cuisine, fond food memories, and a fabulous culinary experience.

- Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
