The Drypoint Etching Printmaking Process was practiced by artists as far back as Rembrant. In this class students will learn the basics to the drypoint process. Students will choose an image and learn to etch that image into a 4x6 acrylic plate. Once the image is etched students will learn how to ink their plate and make prints off of their plate. This process requires some patience, but the results are fun. Students will have 8-10 prints by the end of class. This class is great for kids ages 12 and older, great for adults, great for the whole family!
