The Great Art Hunt 2023

Discover downtown Macon's art treasures in the Great Art Hunt! You'll get a map and a list of clues to help you find all the stops in this scavenger hunt of murals and sculptures. Take a photo with your team to prove you were there. If you find all 20 locations, all of your team members* will be entered into a drawing to win a week on St. George Island! Along the way, you can also find small pieces of art to keep as mini-prizes. Don't worry--you will be provided with a Great Art Hunt tote bag to carry your finds. If you participated in this event last year, come back and do it again! There will be new art to discover and new clues to challenge you. Proceeds from this event support The 567 Center and its mission of bringing creative life to downtown Macon. Saturday, June 10.

The event will kick off at The 567 Center, at 456 First Street. Stop by between 9:30 am and 12 pm to pick up your t-shirt, tote bag, map, and clues. You will have until 7 pm to complete the hunt and e-mail your photos for proof, but you can probably complete it in 3-4 hours. Stop and enjoy downtown Macon's amazing restaurants while you hunt. You can travel by car, foot, or bicycle--the choice is yours! Teams of 2-4 people are welcome. Early bird discount if you register by May 25.

Team of 4: $100 ($90 for early birds)
Team of 3: $80 ($75 for early birds)
Team of 2: $60 ($55 for early birds)
Children 10 and under are free! (Child registration does not include t-shirt or tote bag).

*You must be 18 or older to win a week on St. George Island.
