Vegan does not have to be boring or unhealthy. Caroline Mitri, CHHC will introduce and show you how to utilize quinoa and couscous in many tasty dishes. You cook it once, but make many different dishes with it. This class will feature vegetarian dishes filled with many vegetables, flavors, spices and herbs, yet not forgetting your protein ingredients. Some of the dishes will be Moroccan spiced vegetable couscous, warm quinoa vegetable casserole, and a Mediterranean/Tabouleh quinoa salad. Different dessert ideas will also be taught and included! Most of these dishes can be modified to add to your favorite meat for the meat lovers. Hands-on participation is encouraged for this class but not required. You may choose to simply sit, observe, eat and take these recipes and treats home!
