How about trying your hand at resin by making jewelry at The 567 Center! For this workshop, you will create a pendants and matching earrings by filling a metal bezel with UV resin and your choice of color pigments or additives. This is the ideal workshop for beginners and those who are curious about working with resin without waste and frustration. You'll be guided step-by-step through mixing, adding colors, and pouring to create your own custom look. This workshop will be led by Malissa Kelsey of MADE by MK. $40 includes all materials for 2 pendants (with chain) and 2 matching pairs of earrings ($34 for 567 members). Open to ages 18 & up. August 21, 6:00-8:30 pm.
Though the risks are minimal, by registering for this class, you are assuming the risk of exposure to resin and will not hold The 567 Center or the instructor responsible for any adverse reaction experienced from a resin allergy. Participants will be provided with masks and nitrile gloves.
