Join Us For a 4 week immersion in different pottery decoration techniques!
This class will focus on exploring techniques that can be used to decorate your pottery. The techniques we will be learning will allow you to add  something special to your greenware, bisqued and glazed work. Topics will include, sgraffito, mishima, underglaze, slip trailing, and decals.  Drippy (as the children say).
Included in the cost is everything you need while you are in class: basic pottery tools, buckets, clay and glazes, firing, discounted open studio opportunities.

Please bring a towel to wipe your hands and wear an apron/clothes you can get dirty (clay does wash out).

Part of the process in wheel throwing is basic studio etiquette. Your class time includes not only throwing, but also cleaning your wheel and surrounding floor area and clay tools that were used. Clay is messy - leave your watches and rings at home. A clean studio is a healthy studio as clay dust can build up.
