Over 9 weeks we'll be covering all the basics of photography from how to control your camera, understanding what light is doing, as well as using lenses and composition techniques. Using fun and engaging exercises to build understanding, we'll combine classroom learning with camera work and creative ideas.
Digital Photo I is a goal-oriented process. Students will learn how to use these skills towards their favorite type of photography and work to perfect their craft by creating a series of final images. We'll discuss, print, and exhibit these photographs in a Student Show at the completion of the course.
Who should take this class?
This introductory workshop is great for tweens and teens 11-16 years of age who want to discover the foundations and potential of digital photography.

Your camera, fully-charged batteries, and a clean-formatted memory card.
