With hammers and anvils and fire, learn the basics of how blade-smithing works in creating your very own letter opener. This basic beginner class is perfect for getting started and seeing what this old-time craft is about. We will be concentrating on learning about the tools such as the forge tongs and hammer, and how to use them by making a simple knife or letter opener with an all-metal twisted handle integral knife.
