Vitality Arts: Virtual Drawing – Artist Sketchbook 8 Week Course Winter 2025

Ages: geared for older adults ages 55+, but any adult can register

Cost:  $150 (This class is made possible at a subsidized rate by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.)

Drawing – Artist Sketchbook will focus on artists from Albrecht Durer to Edward Hopper and they used the elements of art to create their work.  Each week we will look at a specific element of art on how the artist used it in their work.  One week will look at how Paul Klee used the element of art of line and another week we will look at Albrecht Durer use of texture. Each week we will have a warm up exercise and an element of an art project inspired by an artist.

All materials will be picked up at the Art Center (Suite 103) or we can ship your supplies (priority mail shipping cost $10.60). You will receive an email when supplies are ready for pick up.
