Join ceramic artist Ashley Hise in the studio as she shares her additive and subtractive process to create dynamic, textured surfaces. Incorporation of locally harvested ceramic materials will also be discussed. After the demonstration students will be provided with a tile and wheel-thrown vessel to serve as ‘blank canvases’ to test and incorporate the ideas and materials during the workshop. All levels of experience are welcome. This class is great for kids ages 13 and older, great for adults, great for the whole family! Registration for this class closes on May 17th or when the class is full.
