In this workshop we'll create a sassy little whimsical vase. DeAnna will guide you through creating a simple 3 prong base and then adding movement and life through it by stretching the body. You'll select your glaze and DeAnna will glaze the vase for you after the bisque firing. You will be able to pick up your finished vase in a few weeks.

I love teaching people about clay. It’s such a versatile medium with a rich, expansive history. It’s so fundamental that it part of almost every culture. Yet, even with ancient roots, new techniques are still emerging from new surface decoration methods and forming approaches. The possibilities for creating with clay is limitless, functional, sculptural, decorative, etc.
I think it’s easy to be intimidated by clay. But the clay studio here at Arrowhead is a comfortable environment with warm and inviting instructors. It’s a safe space to learn without pressure. Exploration is encouraged!
