Grow and Learn with Little Beans 2-5 years

Join Little Beans Evanston for a fun and transitional drop-off program for your 2 - 5 year-olds! Together, we will explore and play all while engaging in age-appropriate educational, creative, physical, and fun activities! A healthy snack will be provided and being potty trained is not required.

This year we will be offering Grow & Learn as a drop off option or as a co-working option. A dedicated workspace is available for adult co-working. Drop off or use the LBC co-working space to maximize the productivity of your time.

Monday-Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm

Extended day until 3:30 with afternoon lunch, rest, and extracurriculars from 12-3:30pm (3 years +)

Sample Schedule:

9:00-9:15 - Open drop-off and separation

9:15-9:30 - Circle Time

9:30-10:15 - Recess in Playspace

10:15-10:30 - Potty Break and snack

10:30-11:40 - Art Project and Learning Centers

11:40-12:00 - Recess in Big Beans playspace

12:00-12:45 - Morning session pick-up and lunch for all-day kids

12:45 - 1:30 - Rest or quiet times in rooms while Little Beans is deep cleaned

1:30-3:30 - Extracurricular time - Rotate through Art, drama, sports, etc in 40-minute sessions in your pod

3:30pm - Pick up

Please Note: Little Beans is offering a reserved play slot on weekdays from 10-11:30am. Outside guests will be able to enter the space during that time. Grow & Learn and Virtual students will be in their classrooms during this timeframe, focusing on their daily special activities, crafts, learning, snack, etc. The playsapces will be sanitized before they re-enter for play.

COVID SAFETY: At Little Beans, our main priority is keeping the kids safe. Groups will be in socially distant PODS, PODs will stay together for 2-4 weeks (depending on registration), temperature and health checks are done each day, the best effort will be made to keep activities socially distant, frequent handwashing and sanitizer will be enforced, and kids over 2 will wear masks. Masks are required for kids however they will get mask breaks when they are able to be safely 6 feet apart, eating or outdoors.

Adult Co-Working Desk Add-on

Policies and Disclaimers

Admission to the preschool prep program will be on a first come first serve basis. You will receive an email confirmation of your placement within a week of your registration. Fees: We require payment at the time of registration. If you withdraw before the class start date there is a $25 processing fee.

Medical Waiver

If your child requires any medicine on site (including an EpiPen or Benadryl) you must provide said product to Little Beans Café Grow & Learn. I understand that participation in class activities involves some inherent risks and danger of accidents resulting in physical injury. Knowing these risks, I hereby assume these risks on behalf of my minor child. In addition, I hereby authorize the staff of the Little Beans Café Grow & Learn program and Little Beans Café to use their best judgment in any emergency situation and release Little Beans Café and Little Beans Café LLC from liability resulting from injury sustained, including death, as a result of participation in the Grow & Learn program. If a camper contracts COVID-19 we will alert all families and close for cleaning and screening. If a student contracts COVID at Little Beans Cafe, Little Beans Cafe, LLC is not held liable.

Consent and Release

As the parent and/or guardian completing this form, I am authorized to execute this waiver of liability as to LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ on behalf of my minor child and myself. I agree that LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ shall not be liable or responsible for any injuries to the above-named child resulting from his or her participation in the LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ Camp program. On behalf of myself, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, and assigns I HEREBY DO RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ LLC and LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ, its officers, agents, independent contractors, instructors, camp directors and employees from any cause of action, claims, or demands of any nature whatsoever, including but not limited to, a claim of negligence, which my minor child or I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, and assigns may now have, or have in the future against LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ, on account of personal injury, property damage, death, or accident of any kind, arising out of or in any way related to my use of the LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ facility and equipment, including but not limited to the LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ play space, outdoor play areas, ice cream parlor, and café area, whether that use is supervised or unsupervised, however the injury or damage is caused, including, but not limited to the negligence of LITTLE BEANS CAFÉ, its officers, agents, independent contractors, instructors, camp directors, and employees. In addition, I authorize Little Beans staff members to assist in changing clothes and undergarments when soiled and to help dress in bathing suits when participating in water play. Little Beans staff members are also authorized to accompany my minor child to the bathroom and provide assistance as needed.
