Class Description:
Discover the tantalizing flavors of Thailand with one of our favorite instructors, Chef Sumana Dey. Thai food is known worldwide for its bold use of different aromatics, herbs, and seasonings. You’ll be exposed to the cooking techniques, ingredients and classic dishes from this popular cuisine so that you’ll be able to recreate your experience at home.  Sumana’s teaching style is relaxed, professional and comforting.  Let’s learn all about Thai cooking as she walks us through dishes such as a Tom Yum Goong, a very loved hot and sour Thai soup with Shrimp,  Pad Grapaw Gai (basil chicken), probably the most popular street in Thailand and Panang Curry, a classic chicken curry cooked in silky coconut milk and curry paste which is made from scratch!  For something sweet to end our culinary journey tonight, you'll get to learn about Thai-style Fried Bananas, with their crunchy coconut-sesame coating. You will be able to try this cooking style yourself as you participate in some hands-on cooking for two of the dishes during class.

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.

• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• For Adult Classes: you must be at least 18 years old as of the class date.
• Unless otherwise noted in the class description, all Adult classes include one glass of beer or wine. Additional alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
