You just need some quiet time, and you’d love to be in the company of some other creative people while get your rhythm back—or find it for the first time—so when fall comes, you have the momentum you need.
We have just the thing. This summer, spend a weekend at the Propagate Art BnB from Friday, August 14 through Sunday August 16 for our first Summer Writers Retreat!
Picture it: A couple of days in a quiet, colorful, inspiring spot to relax, let your mind wander, and get those ideas on the page.
We’ll write together to give our imaginations a workout and spend some time on our own to dig into those ideas, and in between there will be opportunities for you to read, share your work, get to know other writers and more! There will also be time set aside for individual sessions to discuss a short piece of work in more depth, no matter what stage the piece is at (Post-it notes count!).
The weekend will be hosted by writer and coach, Hope Coppinger, who teaches our Play With Your Words Writing Workshop. You can read her most recent published work in New Jersey’s own here.
Other parts of the weekend to look forward to:
- journal and book swap (we know you have journals you aren't going to use let's be honest)
- crafting time (we are steps away from NJ's primary art supply thrift shop!)
- field trip to do some on site writing
The weekend includes lodging at the ArtBnb located at 2550 NJ 57 Stewartsville, NJ and all meals from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. The space has shared accommodations with 5 twin beds in 2 rooms. The glamping tents can host up to 2 guests and two tents are available. Meals will be prepared in the ArtBnb or ordered from local restaurants.
