Kids Camp: Flavors of the Mediterranean

In cooking camp we dive into some amazing foundational cooking techniques while making some delicious foods!   Once your kids learn these basics of cooking, they'll have the confidence to do anything in the kitchen.​Two consecutive mornings.

Who will be the Instructor?  We have a very talented group of instructors who love teaching kids!  All Chef Instructors are highly skilled in their topic area and bring that skill, passion and personality to class.

Materials: Recipe packets are provided for students to take home at the end of camp.

Class size and friends: Class size is determined by the nature of the class but is usually between 6 and 16. If your child is coming with friends, please let us know in the notes while registering so we can plan to put them together at the cooking station.

Equipment needed: All kitchen equipment, knives, aprons, food, spices and herbs are provided. This is an immersion, hands-on class and the kids will be on their feet most of the class (we really prefer the kids wear shoes and not flip flops)

Time:  We do our best to end on time, but there are times when we go over just a bit...things happen!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?  Parking is available in the parking garage directly behind The Opera Galleria at the corner of Laporte and Mason. You are also welcome to pull up into the alley behind the studio to quickly pick up or drop off your student.
