Class Description
Tonight, we have a fresh class perfect for showing off those grill skills- with an Italian twist. In this unique class, we're taking the best of Italian cuisine to the grill, proving that Italian cooking isn't just pasta and pizza. Join us for an evening of fire, flavor, and fun as we master the art of Italian grilling with long time KCCC instructor and BBQ Pro, Chef Bruce Campbell. You'll start by assembling colorful Antipasto Skewers, a perfect bite-sized introduction to Italy's favorite snack. Stack fresh grape tomatoes, basil, mozzarella balls, olives, pepperoncini, and thin sliced salami for an easy (and portable!) appetizer.
Next, you will assemble a Panzanella salad of lightly scored, hearty bread tossed with cucumbers, tomatoes, basil and a light dressing. Keep the grill going for zucchini charred and topped with a creamy and peppery ricotta blend. Pair this with grilled potatoes and that rounds out our sides. The star of our feast is Grilled Chicken Diavola. You’ll learn to make a simple seasoned marinade of herbs, tomatoes and red pepper flakes to season your grilled chicken. For dessert, we're reimagining a classic: Tiramisu on the Grill (aka Bruce’s famous Grilla-misu). We'll show you how to give lady fingers a subtle smoky char, adding an unexpected twist to this beloved dessert. It's a hands-on journey through Italy's diverse culinary landscape, all from the comfort of our Kansas City kitchen. No passport required, just bring your appetite for adventure!

- Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.
- If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes. If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
