About the Author
Also known as "Doc Macaron" on social media to his hundreds of thousands of followers, Chef Fred is a scientist turned pastry chef and macaron artist. Fred's unique background allows him to design innovative, yet approachable, desserts with mouthwatering flavors. "I aim at teaching others how to bake successful desserts by providing the scientific basis in a way that is accessible to anyone".
Chef Fred Csibi-Levin earned a pastry degree from Cambridge School of Culinary Arts where he now teaches professional students the art and science of Pastry Arts.
Originally from France, Chef Fred has called Boston home since 2010.
