Class Description:
Step away from the same old Christmas party fare as we head South-of-the-border for a spicy holiday cooking class. Traditional dishes play a big role in Mexican Christmas family celebrations. Tonight, you’ll be treated to a real Mexican cooking celebration as experienced instructor, and a true Mexican cook, Susy Lara, teaches you to make one of her favorite holiday dishes. We’ll greet you with one of Chef Susy’s favorite Margarita-based cocktails, then she’ll share coveted family recipes, secrets and techniques as she teaches you how to make Chicken Tamales with Tomatillo Sauce (from scratch!), plus other special dishes such as Atole that are served at the Lara Holiday Gathering. We’ll end our festive feast with Buñuelo’s – a delectable sweet dessert and a Mexican Coffee. (Psst! It’s also one of Santa’s favorite treats!) You’ll get to help Susy prepare some of these flavorful dishes…..and here’s a bonus, you’ll even take home a half-dozen tamales to share with your family (or not)! Feel free to wear your favorite ugly Christmas sweater to this unique holiday celebration!

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
• This Is An Adult Class: You must be at least 18 years old as of the class date.  
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• Unless otherwise noted in the class description, all adult classes include one glass of beer or wine. Additional alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
