Special Event: Ages 5+ Paws Off Mug!

Join us for this fun Cat themed mug class! 
Come join us at The Sweada Mae Art Cafe for our special event - Ages 5+ Paws Off Mug! We’ll be creating our own unique mugs that are paw-print free – no furry paws on these  mugs! Students will learn how to apply patterns to pottery, glazing techniques, and work on fine motor skills while creating an item they can use at home. Our knowledgeable staff will guide students step by step and answer questions. You won’t want to miss this paw-fect event! 

Messes are what we do best! Getting messy is a fun part of learning about art. We strive for contained messes and will always offer your students an apron for projects that may stain clothes. It is not recommended to send your student in their best clothes.

Requirements: Students must be 5 yrs+ and self sufficient. We pack a lot of information into a short time frame and need our students to be able to follow instructions and stay on task.  Parents are welcome to stay in the main studio during the class. "Paint While You Wait" and receive a 10% discount. 

Pick up: Students must be picked up no later than 10 min. after class ends.
Projects that require kiln firing may be picked up between August 4-August 31st.

What to bring: Students may bring a water bottle with a closed lid. Please do not bring food items. We may have students with food allergies and need to control food items that come into the studio.

Ohio Ace Grant: The Sweada Mae Art Cafe is a qualified provider for the Ohio Ace Grant Program. Students who qualify may submit the receipt for this educational class to their ACE account for reimbursement.
