As if the elegant little macaron could get any sweeter right? All dolled up for the holidays, these little 'candy cane' macarons take on the minty, cool flavor of candy canes. If you’re like us, you’re obsessed with these delicate, beautiful and classically French cookies. Today’s experienced instructor Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute, past owner of Mulberry & Mott’s and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room KC, so you’re in for a real treat in this special interactive class. She’s eager to teach her expert tips and fancy baking techniques as she walks you through the steps to make exquisite Candy Cane Macarons, using the Italian meringue method -- colorful, crispy cookie “sandwiches” filled with peppermint flavored Buttercream. So, tie on an apron, and let’s get going. You’ll take home some candy cane macarons to share with your family as well as the confidence to create more of these tasty gems! Oui Oui!
