It’s time to take off the training wheels. In this work-shop, the novice student will further explore the unique qualities of PMC. Learn to hone your skills with assembled hollow forms, both with cores (bees-wax over organic material) and without cores (rocker bead), and add a new dimension to your repertoire.
Minimum Skill Level: Determined Beginner. Prior experience necessary.
What will we do? Pattern making/paper templates, using contoured push molds, beeswax cores, dry-constructed hollow forms, surface texturing, and advanced finishing techniques. Students will be encouraged to find their own style and voice.
Date/Time: 2-day workshop. Jan 18-19, 2020 (Bad Weather Date: Jan 25-26, 2020) Time: 9am-5pm
Cost: $375.00 for 2 days plus $100 for materials fee which includes Fine Silver Metal Clay lump and paste for projects
