What's resin all about? Give this trending craft a try at The 567 Center! Create your own 12 x 9 wooden serving board with epoxy resin accent. This is the ideal workshop for beginners and those who are curious about working with epoxy resin without waste and frustration. You'll be guided step-by-step through mixing, adding colors, and pouring to create your own custom look. In the December 9 class, you'll add stones to your cheeseboard to create a geode effect. This workshop will be led by Malissa Kelsey of MADE by MK. $45 includes all materials ($38 for 567 members). Open to ages 18 & up. 7:00-9:30 pm.
Though the risks are minimal, by registering for this class, you are assuming the risk of exposure to resin and will not hold The 567 Center or the instructor responsible for any adverse reaction experienced from a resin allergy. Participants will be provided with masks and nitrile gloves.
Your project will require 24 hours to cure before transporting it. You must return during business hours to pick up your project. The gallery is open Monday-Friday, 11 am-4 pm. We will also be open 5-8 pm on First Friday, January 5. Please contact The 567 if other project retrieval options are needed.
