Paint Me a Story - The Rascally Cake

Our Paint Me a Story Series launches with one of my all time favorite books.  I will read this book to anyone, anywhere, any time.  This is a silly story about a man and a cake.  It is incredibly well written and a lot of fun read aloud.  You will enjoy the rhymes and the cadence as much as I do.  

The Rascally Cake was written by Jeanne Willis and Korky Paul.  When it is over the children will be invited to paint a party plate (or a small figurine if that is what they would prefer).  The glazes we paint with are lead free and non-toxic.  They usually wash right out of clothing, but I would not dress to impress, just in case.  The children will be offered a smock and the projects will be available within a week after painting them.  Any plates or bowls that are painted are dishwasher safe and microwave safe so they can be use safely for food.
