Art Club K-5: Clay Coil Pots

Wish Upon a Jar Art Club is a kids-only after school art program for kids in grades kindergarten through fifth. In this session we'll be getting our hands dirty and working with clay! Students will learn a basic coil technique and will create small clay pots. We'll learn how to prepare clay for firing and how to properly build our clay pots. We'll also glaze the pots after we build them. This class is suitable for those who have no clay experience, and those with some experience will be able to use more advanced techniques. These can be used as small planters, pencil holders, bud vases & more.  Pieces will be ready for pickup 10-14 days after firing. 

After school art club is a kids only drop-off class. Sibling discounts are offered for students who live in the same household. If your student is not yet in kindergarten, please give the studio a call before signing them up.
