Class Description:
Tonight’s class is all about socializing the Spanish way. Your guide is longtime Instructor Chef Richard McPeake. Chef Richard is the Retired Lead Chef Instructor of Kansas City Kansas Community College Culinary Center Chef Instructor for 20 years and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He has won countless awards throughout his career including the American Royal Grand Champion plus seven first place ribbons. Tonight, Chef Richard is taking you to the Iberian Peninsula tonight with a traditional spread of Spanish Tapas.
We’re going big on small plates and kicking the evening off with a Charcuterie Board full of Spanish flavors. A variety of cheeses, meats; like salami and prosciutto, pistachios and smoked cashews to add a flavorful texture variety, olives, dips, and an assortment of berries and crackers. Finally you need a sweet ending for any Charcuterie Board with some chocolates.
Next, Chef Richard is showing you how to make Spain's famous Gazpacho Blanco. Cucumbers, garlic, spices, and yogurt, make this cold soup a hot item for any dinner party. Creamy, light, with a hint of heat is a perfect way to lead into our series of small plates: Shrimp and Chorizo, Grilled Fennel, and Hanger Steak. We couldn’t end the night without a sweet finish. Chef Richard will demonstrate the process of creating a Valencia Orange Flan, often referred to as the national dessert of Spain. Enjoy these small plate creations for a big night of fun with friends!

- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
