Class Description:
Dive into the luxurious world of French seafood cuisine in this hands-on culinary adventure! In this class, you'll master the art of preparing an elegant, seasonal French seafood feast, from appetizer to dessert. Your guide is CCKC Head Instructor and Executive Chef Melissa Houston, who has travelled the globe cooking and teaching for over 30 years. Hailing from the West Coast, Melissa uses her wealth of culinary experience to put her own unique spin on regional and global cuisine that is both healthy and delicious.
Chef Melissa will teach you to shuck oysters like a pro and pair them with a zesty Champagne Mignonette. Create a refreshing Citrus Salad with fresh Butter Lettuce and a Sherry Vinaigrette that perfectly balances sweet and tangy flavors. The star of the show? Julia Child's iconic Bouillabaisse - a rich, aromatic seafood stew that will transport you straight to the French Riviera. You'll also craft a silky roasted Red Pepper Rouille to accompany a classic French Baguette, elevating your seafood experience. To cap off this gastronomic journey, you'll bake a rustic Apple Galette, a sweet, light dessert to end your evening of seafood delights.
Throughout the class, you'll pick up essential French cooking techniques, learn about selecting and preparing seafood, and discover the secrets to balancing flavors in classic French cuisine. Bring your appetite and leave with a taste of France!

- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
