Join us for a Plein Air competition during the Two Rivers Art Fair! The cost to enter the competition is $5 per person. Judging will begin at 2pm with the winners announced at 2:30pm.
- First Place winner gets a $125 cash prize and we will also use the winner’s art as the featured image for promoting the 2026 Art Fair!
- Second Place winner gets a $75 cash prize!
We are currently looking for people/businesses to sponsor the prize money for this Plein Air Competition and if we get more sponsors, the prize amount will go up and we could add a third place winner as well.
Need to know:
* This is a rain or shine event, please plan accordingly.
* Participants are limited to 1 entry into the competition. You may create more than 1 piece, but you must choose only 1 to be judged.
* Artwork entries must be started and completed at the Two Rivers Art Fair between the hours of 10am and 2pm.
* Participants must bring all of their own equipment and supplies. Rumriver Art Center has some basic easels that we can loan out if needed.
* More detailed information will be emailed out to all registered participants the week of the event.
