Spring Break Kid's Try It!

*A couple important things to note before purchasing:

It's Spring Break!!! Is your kiddo ready to get their hand on the pottery wheel and clay? Or not sure if they are ready to commit to a full kids 6 week course or summer camp? This is their chance to give the pottery wheel a shot.
$69/child includes an 1.5-hour lesson with instruction, 1st firing, glazing of their two (2) pieces, and 2nd firing!
Registration required. Space limited, only 6 spots! Ages are restricted 8 to 14 for safety and dexterity.

**Hot Tips for your first time on the Pottery Wheel

- Maybe don't wear your favorite shoes or clothes (pants/shorts are recommended as you will be straddling the wheels). While the clay is all natural and water soluble, it still has the ability to make it's way into nooks and cranny's. We have aprons for every student so we'll keep your clothes as clean and covered as possible, but get ready to roll those sleeves up (literally and figuratively speaking.)

- Bring hair ties for long hair to keep your luscious locks clay free; unless you want to embrace the “Clay Hair Don’t Care” lifestyle

- Long nails can be a hindrance to throwing so please plan accordingly

- Go easy on yourself! Have fun and know that this is a difficult skill to master. A Try It Night is the perfect opportunity to dip your toes into the world of Clay, which can be intimidating! First timers are our JAM so don't stress and remind yourself to be present and enjoy the process
