EXPERIMENTAL Painting KIDS Event (June 23-24, 2020)

EXPERIMENTAL PAINTING (KIDS EVENT):

CHOOSE 1 CLASS OR BOTH for the FULL experience!

TUESDAY, JUNE 23, 2020:  HOW to PAINT without BRUSHES!

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, 2020:  HOW to PAINT without PAINT!

Ages 6-9:  NOON - 1:30 PM

Ages 10 & Up:  3:00-4:45 PM 

These PAINTING EXPERIMENTS are SO MUCH FUN for the KIDS AND the TEACHER, too!  It will help open your child's mind to possible resources all around them in everyday life-- even if they don't have a certain type of brush or a paint set at home.  

The children will bring home paintings each day, but we'll use some non-traditional processes & supplies to create them.  I love helping your child become a resourceful, creative thinker!

Beginner? --No worries.  Susan (our studio owner & professional artist) will lead everyone through each step of the painting processes even though they'll have lots of options along the way!  

Cost?  $20 per child per day OR  just $35 per child to attend both classes.  Price includes supplies. 

Age Group?  Ages 6-9 in our Noon Class each day and Ages 10 & Up in the 3 pm class.  (If you have siblings attending but their ages put them in different classes & you'd like for them to attend together, please choose the youngest class for them or email me with your concerns.) 

Can we Bring a Drink? You're welcome to bring a water bottle with a secure lid.   No other drinks please.  (Water is easier to clean up after accidental spills & less damaging if it gets on the paintings.)

Make your reservation at least 1 WEEK in ADVANCE (by June 16).  Reservations will close earlier if our available space fills sooner.

Do you accept credit/debit cards? Actually, you will need to pay for these classes as you make your reservation here online using your credit or debit card instead of an option to pay at the event for this one.

Parking?  Free & unlimited Parking in the huge Parking Lot between the studio and Lyman 1st Baptist Church.  (Only 2 hour free parking along the sidewalk in front of the studio, so you could use that option to unload people before you go park if you prefer.)

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

1.   Please do not come early to class.  (We need time before & between classes to clean & set up supplies for class.)  Doors will open no earlier than 10 min prior to each class.  Please make sure other people bringing your child to class are aware of this policy, so they will not have to wait outside in the heat or rain.

2.  For safe distances in the classroom, Please remain in the lobby unless Susan has invited you into the classroom space.  Maintain safe distances while in the lobby.  

3.  We provide Hand Sanitizer as you Enter & Leave the Lobby as well as soaps at our sinks in the back.  

4.   We normally use 5' tables with 1 or 2 children sitting at each table.  Be sure to choose your preference in this form. 

5.  Please do not bring your child to class if he or she has been running a fever in the previous 48 hours.
