When registering for a class or booking a private event, you’ll need to agree to our cancellation policy detailed below. As soon as an event is booked, we reserve our Studio just for you and get started preparing all of the details. Our Studio locations are family-run small businesses working hard to create amazing events for our guests. Please understand that Hammar’s Studios is unable to make exceptions to this policy for scheduling conflicts, last-minute illnesses or no shows. Thank you for your patronage.
1 day Classes, Events, Workshops & Camps: Cancellations & Exchanges Due to limited seating, we can not offer refunds for last minute cancellations. If an email notice is provided 48 hours prior to your event, a store credit less a $35.00 exchange/cancellation fee will be given. Store credits expire 6 months from the date of your request. No credits can be issued when fewer than 48 hours notice is provided. You are welcome to send a friend in your place.
Weekly Programs & Camps: Cancellations, Exchanges & Absences For weekly programs & camps, any exchanges or cancellations must be requested via email 14 days prior to the first day of the series to receive a refund for the series, less a $35.00 cancellation/exchange fee. For less than 14 days notice, we are not able to offer partial cancellations or makeup classes for individual sick days that are missed. Cancellations and withdrawals after an art class/program/painting event/workshop/art camp has begun will not entitle the student to any refund, studio credit, or make-up classes.
Private Events
Due to limited capacity, event deposits are non-refundable. If you’d like to change your event date and/or time, a 14 day notice must be requested via email. Reschedule or cancellation requests received less than 5 days prior to your event will be charged the full balance due for your event to cover the cost of perishables and loss of business.
Inclement weather/emergency Closings and low enrollment cancellation are as follows: In the event that Hammar’s Studios cancels a class or has an emergency closing; Hammar’s Studios will offer all registered parties a make-up class of same or equal value, a store credit in the amount of customer’s original purchase, or a refund in the original form of tender. Classes with low enrollment are subject to cancellation with a full refund to all registered clients via original form of payment. If you are considering enrolling, please do because earlier enrollments help to ensure the class will be running!
Student absences & make- up classes: Aspiring Artists & Dare to Draw Art Students are offered up to 1 make-up class regardless of quantity of missed classes within their current registration period. A make up class must be used (no later than) 14 days past the registered student’s last scheduled class. Aspiring Artists & Dare to Draw students are encouraged to attend alternate/additional open studio times between these programs to ensure satisfactory studio time and support for art work completion. Unused sessions due to a student absence can not be carried over, credited, pro-rated, or refunded,
Abandoned Artwork: Completed, incomplete, framed or unframed; Artwork can not be held in our studio for longer than 7 days following the registered student’s last class or 7 days past completing a framing order. Hammar’s Studios will not be held responsible or liable in any way for artwork that is left behind or unclaimed that exceeds the above times. In the event it’s impossible to return to our studio, shipping and handling could be arranged for a nominal fee. Please contact us by telephone at 603-751-8008 or e-mail info@hammarsartstudio.com. As a courtesy, Hammar’s Studios will extend 1 courtesy phone call and 1 e-mail to remind the students with art materials in our possession. *If Artwork is not picked up within the 7 day time frame, Hammar’s Art Studio & Cultural Center reserves the right to recycle, reclaim or donate any unclaimed artworks.
Merchandise Returns: Must be made within 30 days from purchase date with original receipt of purchase. Goods must be unused/unopened merchandise in original packaging for a full refund in original form of tender. Art To Gogh Kits are not returnable or eligible for refunds, credit or exchanges.
Make & Take experience: Incomplete Ceramic Studio Experience: Guests may return to the Studio with their unfinished ceramic within 30 days to complete and there is no additional fee for the 1 Guest. The return pass is not transferable to another Guest. Ceramic artworks can not be stored at the Studio.
