This class is for wine enthusiasts, beginners, and pros who would like to learn all the ins and outs of wine in a “one-stop-shop” class. Tonight’s class is taught by Sommelier Brent Grider. Brent holds the title of Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommelier, and is certified through Bar Smarts™ for his knowledge of cocktails and spirits.

This 2.5-hour class is designed for those with an appreciation for one of the world’s oldest beverages. The goal of the class will be to gain a working knowledge of the various grape varietals and then gauge what styles of wine appeal most to you and why. We’ll also do some tasting to get a sense of each wine’s flavor complexity.

Brent will go over basic varieties of wine, how to taste wine professionally, the basics of wine making, reading and understanding a wine label, how to order wine from a wine list in a restaurant and how to select wines with ease and confidence in a wine shop or online. We will cover the most popular grape varieties and regions around the world as well. Learn the fundamentals of proper serving and storage, along with basic wine and food pairing principles, ensuring your wine experiences are always top-notch. This class will have light snacks included.

Adult only (21+): Only adults over the age of 21. Alcohol will be served in this class as part of the menu. If you do not wish to drink, please let us know in the "comments" section of sign-up.
