Class Description
Tonight we're throwing you a dinner party, bring friends, family, your main squeeze or all of the above. Your guide is longtime instructor Chef Richard McPeake. Chef Richard is the Retired Lead Chef Instructor of Kansas City Kansas Community College Culinary Center Chef Instructor for 20 years and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He has won countless awards throughout his career including 14 Travel Holiday Awards and 2 Four Diamond Awards for Food Excellence.
You can't go wrong with tonight's show stopper - Seared Sea Bass with Braised Red Onions in a Beurre Rouge Sauce. We're starting off with making a phenomenal salad of grilled fennel and leeks in a tangy homemade vinaigrette. Next we will put together a simple but impressive tomato tart with asparagus and gruyere. A perfect side dish for any dinner party. From there, we’ll move on to creating your entrée – seared Sea Bass. Chef Richard will teach you the techniques to perfectly cook your fish into an impressive main dish. Finally, sit back and watch Chef Richard prepare one of his favorite desserts - Sabayon with Fresh Berries. This French custard is made by whipping egg yolks, cream, champagne together to create an airy sweet treat topped with fresh berries.

- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.
