This is a special “Fan” exercise class using tai chi skills for health and wellness. This class was created for JFCS, and students will learn beautiful tai chi fan flowing movements. These are not Elizabethan fan moves. Students should bring their own 13” hand fans. Emphasis will be on basic balance and flexibility skills. Students will first learn “Fan” moves that will exercise both the body and mind. Ample time to practice all the movements, will be provided. Comfortable clothes and shoes recommended.
Series will take place on 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19 and 2/26 from 1-2pm at the Valley of the Sun JCC

Please note: the Fans need to be 13". Not smaller or family heirlooms. And not larger.
Raymond Sol, MS Ed., a Master's degree level teacher, has been teaching Tai Chi - Guang Ping Yang 64 Form and The Simplified 25 Form - for more than twenty years. He has been teaching and doing Tai Chi for 23+ years. Weekly practices average 6/week, 2 to 3 hours.
