Maker Kids: Turn 2D into 3D Sculpture (Ages 5-9)

Start your kids early on sculpture using oil pastels and cardboard to bring ideas to life!

We also offer this specific class to children aged 9-13 years old, you can sign up here


Students will turn two-dimensional Picasso paintings into three-dimensional sculptures using similar techniques and ideas used by contemporary artist Aaron Curry. 


Students will become familiar with UJoints and the importance of balance in sculpture.

Through structured play, our educational workshops integrate visual art, hands-on art, and performance art to build character. We believe that focusing on self-confidence and leadership will help local youth be proud of what makes them super and see and treat others as an extension of themselves.

Note:

Parents do not need to stay for the duration of the class. You are welcome to wait in the lobby or return at the conclusion of the class. 


Tickets: 

Parent is an Idea Foundry Member - $30 per child
