EVENT: Colored Clay Workshop-Nerikomi style

Nerikomi is the art of using multiple colors of clay to create patterns and designs. Join Outside the Lines Art Studio along with our Instructor Emma Price as we walk you through the process of hand mixing color into our clay body, then create a patterned “cane”, use inlay, and other techniques related to Nerikomi in our 3-day workshops. This workshop is recommended for intermediate to advanced potters, but beginners are welcomed and encouraged to take all 3 days! You can expect to make a variety of slab- built items such as mugs, plates and or bowls to mention a few. The end results will vary based on personal creations. This is an affordable way to work with colored clay and add some color to your life and your pottery with this one-of-a-kind workshop. Dates: July 31 th: making the colored clay: 6:30-8:30pm
August 4th & August 7th: making patterns and pieces: 6:30-9:30pm
