Watercolor Landscapes 3 Week Class

Ages: 16 and older

Dates: Saturdays December 2, 9, 16

Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm

Location: Rumriver Art Center (upstairs studio suite 201)
Being that we are located in a very old building, there are no elevators or escalators. The only way into the Upstairs Studio is to climb up 18 stairs. We are currently exploring funding options such as grants and fundraisers to get a chair lift installed for the stairway to make this space more accessible for everyone.

Teacher: Cherene Bebeau

In this class students will learn to use diverse applications and techniques to create multiple paintings. This class is great for older kids and adults. Make it a family event!
1. Start small and loose letting your pigments do the work for you. Explore building textures.  
 Great warm-ups or mini masterpieces. Multiply your masterpieces for sharing.
2. Trees, rocks, and waterfalls...user friendly techniques for painting difficult subjects.
3. Focus of light....Sunshine through a forest
