Vitality Arts Watercolor 8 Week Course Spring 2025

Ages: geared for older adults ages 55+, but any adult can register

Cost: $150 (This class is made possible at a subsidized rate by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.)

Explore the fun and  enjoyment of painting with watercolor. Join friends and let the beauty of the season inspire you,  while letting your creativity bloom in this encouraging and fun watercolor class!
Learn about many watercolor techniques, and study the work of a variety of artists. Work with composition, color mixing and more, using still life and spring themed photo images as sources. 
Watercolor is a water soluble paint which has transparent properties allowing light to be reflected through layers of color. This exciting and versatile medium gives artists the opportunity to express their creativity in multiple ways. Washes of rich color, playful brushstrokes and the sparkle of white paper combine in unique ways to create beautiful paintings.  This is a fun and relaxing class and perfect for all levels of experience! All materials provided.
