Sweet, petite, and delicious! The classic French macaron is made from a few simple ingredients – meringue, almond meal, and icing sugar – and while it takes time to gain the technical skills to make them, making your own macarons at home is fun and rewarding. If you’re obsessed with these delicate, beautiful, and classically French cookies, this is the class for you! Chef Natasha Goellner is a world-class pastry chef and instructor. A graduate of The French Culinary Institute and past owner of Mulberry & Mott’s on Country Club Plaza and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room KC, Chef Natasha will lead this special four-hour interactive class that will teach you all the essential techniques you need to make your own macarons. Besides the basics, you will learn about the nearly infinite options you have to flavor your macaron filling, from classic vanilla to strawberry cheesecake to peach champagne. You will also take home some macarons to enjoy with your family later. Très magnifique!
