Join us for the evening, Sunday, February 22nd to ponder Waiting for Godot through a menu of intentional dishes reflecting simplicity, repetition, and the passage of time using familiar ingredients presented with restraint and quiet elegance. This elevated, deconstructed menu presents five courses. Please note that the final menu is subject to change based on seasonality and availability of ingredients.
Course One - The Arrival
A paired bread shard topped with whipped, cultured butter and olive oil, flake salt and cracked pepper.
Course Two - The Passage of Time
Clear onion and potato broth, thyme, bay, and black pepper.
Course Three- Sustenance (Main)
Braised short rib or herb-roasted chicken with root vegetable purée, wilted greens
Vegetarian alternative: Roasted mushroom and lentil ragout with parsnip or celery root purée
Course Four – The Tree
Poached pear or apple with a light drizzle of honey, topped with toasted grains and nuts.
Course Five - Tomorrow, Perhaps
Bittersweet chocolate biscuit with coffee or tea
