WEEK FOUR July 8th - July 12th: The Animator (Potter's Wheel Week 2)
For your young comic reader, game player, and Pokemon hunter, this week is inspired by all their favorite animated characters and games! We'll be painting our own Snorlax plate, a soot sprite mug inspired by Studio Ghibli, a Squishmallow inspired dish, and much more! Campers will also get to make their own pot on the potter's wheel this week!
Each week of Joe Picasso’s Summer Art Camp will include fun projects like canvas and pottery painting, making mosaics, sculpting with clay, wood and string art, and glass painting projects! In addition to those projects each week has a theme that will include lots of creative art activities designed to let your child expand their imagination and learn fun new artistic skills! Campers will engage in 3-4 art projects per day. We start each day with an art journal session where we make sure to teach the campers artsy techniques they can use at home with minimal supplies. Then, we move into the more intense, fine art projects for each day. On Friday of each week, we take a walk over to Stork's Cafe for our afternoon snack. Campers get to choose 1 sweet treat from the pastry case, courtesy of Joe's.
$500 per camper (+ sales tax) includes all supplies and instruction as well as supervision
